Given my lack of knowledge about VJ software I'm just not sure if Union is lacking features that VDMX has that I may find useful later on, or if some of VDMX's additional flexibility would be superfluous to me- One thing I like about VDMX is the fact that it can work with my Arduinome, but that's not a make-or-break feature. We are currently planning out the next few months of development and would love to get some feedback from people using VDMX in the field. The videos in my signature link were bashed out in about 30 min maximum. Hi For those who don't know, VDMX is mostly written and supported by two people, Dave and Ray at VIDVOX. I want to get something that I can grow with as my skill develops, but it only going to augment my live set, it's not going to be my primary focus, so it doesn't need to have every single bell & whistle. If you already have ableton Live I suggest you fuck around with it before forking out any cash, as it may well suit your workflow, or what you are trying to achieve.
Basically I'm not serious enough about it to want to buy the rolls royce of VJ software, but I've tried out some really basic software and most of it lacks features I need.
